La Sargane is a fictional bakery for which I, as part of a school project (EDAA), was tasked to design the corporate identity. There, one can enjoy the best home-made pastries in a cosy and distinctly Lyonnaise atmosphere.
Gourmandise and conviviality are the key words of this young business, and they needed to be reflected in its visual identity. I thus chose to work with a palette of warm colours and a set of soft shapes: circles and semi-circles with irregular contours. Depending on how they are arranged, they can evoke a cake, a macaroon, a cup of tea and so on. It is a system that would be easy to use across a wide range of media, as well as to animate for social networks or a website.
The fine sans serif font brings balance and a modern touch to the logo. The overall effect is soft and enticing.
